Sang Lee
President & CEO

Sang H. Lee is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DarcMatter. A leading pioneer within the Financial Services and Technology industries, Sang has worked to push forward necessary regulatory changes, as well as industry buy-in to achieve much of the platform boarding, the industry has seen today. Sang has been recognized as an "Under30CEO Entrepreneur to Watch in New York City" and a "GOOD100" fellow, an annual list of 100 change making entrepreneurs.

Sang is also an international keynote speaker on various topics within FinTech and Cross Border investments, accepting numerous speaking invitations from the UN, International CES, Harvard University, Brown University, the Council on Foreign Relations, MoneyConf, and the Wealth Management Insights Summit, along with many other leading financial and investor oriented conferences.

Formerly an investment banker at leading European investment bank BNP Paribas, Sang has significant experience in the advisory and execution of more than $10.0 Bn equivalent of investment banking transactions in North America. Sang was recognized as "Top Global Talent" and worked on global bank level strategy projects for the bank’s Executive Committee.

As Co-Founder, CEO, and President, of the Global Award Winning FinTech Platform, DarcMatter, Sang continues to focus on the company’s mission globally; to enhance capital flow, transparency, and efficiency for Asset Managers, Advisors, and Investors by providing direct and comprehensive access to funds in the Alternative Asset Management industry.

Natasha Bansgopaul
COO

Natasha Bansgopaul is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Global Award Winning FinTech Platform, DarcMatter (DM). She is a part of the founding team of both DarcMatter and Return on Change, joining the company as an experienced marketing and strategy professional with over 10+ years of demonstrated leadership through key strategic roles at both Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 companies.

Her most recent corporate role at PepsiCo provided significant experience in developing global billion-dollar brands through new product innovation, comprehensive go-to-market and social media marketing strategies, and consumer insights research. Her breakthrough and cross-functional collaboration project wins, earned her various awards and accolades, including the company’s "Crushed Can" award for increasing the brand’s market share versus competition. As Natasha created PepsiCo’s first “Innovation Incubation” department, she began to work with startups and explore impactful venture deals for the CPG conglomerate, strengthening her interest in startup technology.

She holds an MBA in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Leadership from The Pennsylvania State University, and is the university’s 2010 Bunton Waller Scholar. With a passion for learning, business development, diversity and inclusion, and technology, Natasha is a co-founding member of DM’s management team, previously as the Chief Marketing Officer and currently as DarcMatter’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Natasha has successfully lead the company through various startup competitions and conferences, resulting in global awards and recognition such as, NextMoney Global FinTech Finals, "Best Growth Stage FinTech Company", Korean Startup Grand Challenge (Top 4 out of 120), and HFM Technology "Best FinTech Solution for Hedge Funds".

Konstantin Solodkyy
CTO

Stan is a Chief Technology Officer of DarcMatter (CTO) and joined the management team in 2013. He is part of the founding team of both Return on Change and DarcMatter. Stan is a pioneer in the technology industry, being an early supporter of cutting edge technologies and platforms from the ground up. He is the technology pulse of the company and serves as the orchestrating force behind the company’s product development direction and efforts.

Being an engineer by his education and calling, Stan received Master of Informatics degree at the age of 20. Starting his career early, he has 17 years of experience developing commercial software. He started from Windows API development in early 2000s and later on he covered mobile, server, and frontend development working with such verticals as banking, fintech, trading, e-commerce, manufacturing, cloud services, and professional services. In his past, he also built algorithms for trading futures markets and thus is well acquainted with the industry of asset management. His experience working with startups inside professional services and consulting companies helped him to build unique methods to effectively rollout new technology products.

As part of DarcMatter, Stan manages DarcMatter’s Kiev office that has built a highly scalable platform using the latest technologies. The product delivered allowed DarcMatter to win "Best Fintech Solution for Small & Startup Funds" Award at the HFM U.S. Hedge Fund Technology Awards in 2017.

Eugene Hong
Product Lead

Eugene joined the team as Product Lead at Konstellation in 2018.
He directs new strategies and leads product management to create and maximize Konstellation's value proposition.

As both business strategist and engineer by education, Eugene is now dedicated to creating innovation in the financial industry and its community by leveraging platform business and blockchain technology.

Prior to joining, Eugene has gathered a wide range of professional experiences from product management & business development at an early-stage startup to corporate strategy practice at a global enterprise, both focused on tech-based innovation execution.

Eugene holds a MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management with concentrations on finance and entrepreneurship, and a BS in electrical engineering from Seoul National University.

Nicholas Krapels
Blockchain Lead

Nicholas Krapels is an American writer, educator, and entrepreneur who has lived in China since 2011. He studied insurance, business strategy, and corporate risk assessment in mainland China at the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. He graduated with a double Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and Music from Bard College (NY). He obtained an International MBA with a focus on finance and global supply chain from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business.

His first book, Myanmar 2014: New Information and Cultural Insights Entrepreneurs Need to Start a Business in Myanmar, co-written with Sivers, Derek (2014). His pieces about China have been published on VICE News. His finance-related work is published on Seeking Alpha.

Mr. Krapels has avidly studied China since 1995. His current research focuses on the unique management of monetary policy and the nature of blockchain innovation in China’s economy. He lives in Shanghai where he teaches undergraduate finance and pursues a doctorate in Chinese politics at East China Normal University. He also teaches at the University of Dayton China Institute in Suzhou.
